Centrally-located, just west of Parker's historic town center, the library includes a diverse collection, with special emphasis on consumer health, equestrian resources, home schooling tools, local music and inspirational materials. A professionally-staffed children's room and separate teen area serve the community's youth. The Parker Library also provides professional onsite reference service, full-service public computing stations and a used-book sale room. Public meeting rooms include one conference room, a large meeting room and two small study rooms.

Cafe Current presents talk on renewable energy research
Where: Parker
Ms. Kerry Masson will speak on the latest advances in Renewable Energy research and development as well as what the future holds at the Warhorse Inn in historic downtown Parker. The event is free.
The talk by Masson kicks off Café Current, a new Parker Library series focusing on tomorrows banner news. The series is a partnership between Parker Library and the Warhorse Inn in Old Town Parker. The Warhorse is owned by longtime Parker businessman Stevan Strain, a Douglas County Libraries board member.
The lectures, followed by discussion facilitated by the speakers, are free.
Ms. Masson is director of the Office of Public Relations for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). NREL, a federally funded agency, is the nations primary laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research and development.
